The Sun’s Farewell Ballet — Krimsone
Together with local residents, ideas were gathered for a new mural in the neighborhood. They wished for a warm and positive atmosphere, with themes such as nature, flowers, playing children, animals and cultural diversity. Colors that evoke a sense of home – green, blue, yellow, orange and soft, natural tones – were also frequently mentioned.
Based on this input, Australian artist Krimsone created a design that reflects calm, color and connection. The ribbon symbolizes unity within the community, while teacups refer to the homely character of the neighborhood. The colors were intentionally softened to create a harmonious atmosphere, and as a special detail the cornflower was added – a nod to the building’s name and a recognizable element from the area.
About the
Artist
Krimsone is a multidisciplinary artist, focusing mainly on aerosol painting. His style resinates around flora and fauna, imaginative style, constructive patterns and colour. He rarely uses a reference and likes to explore ideas from his own imagination and turn them into physical marks and colours.
