Europol — Luca Leida
The European Union's Most Wanted campaign, is a progressive effort to catch high-profile criminals who have fled the justice system. The new initiative follows the success of last year's campaign, which apprehended more than 30 suspects in less than 12 months.
This year's campaign focuses on apprehending criminals fleeing justice after committing serious crimes such as murder, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other serious crimes. To highlight this, Europol and ENFAST unveiled a mural of a playing card in Brussels to depict how by eliminating one criminal (one card), the whole system (house of cards) can collapse. This mural was painted by graffiti artist Luca Leida.
