North Sea Port
in depth
From now on, North Sea Port (Ghent Port) will provide quayside electricity for inland navigation vessels, in Ghent and Terneuzen. Inland navigation vessels can now lay their diesel engines and tap into shore power.
A first for Ghent, which at the request of North Sea Port was converted into a very exceptional mural by top artist Matthew Dawn. In our opinion, this was a very challenging project. Fierce gusts of wind and wetness throughout the process were defied by our team. Also the necessary creativity to paint just above the water was needed. Fortunately, our team is logistically skilled enough to withstand any challenge!
The project not only provided a beautiful view for the ships, but also an excellent angle to communicate this news to the outside world. During the unveiling of the new cabinets, the press was numerous and looked with amazement at the extra addition and eye-catcher in the harbor.
Do you also have a project where you are looking for extra added value? We would be happy to look together with you at how your story can be creatively transformed into a true work of art.
