De Halve Maan is a beer brewery in Bruges, Belgium. De Halve Maan brews Brugse Zot , Straffe Hendrik , Blanche de Brugge/Bruges Wheat beer and other beers.
De Brouwerij has several relationships with cafes throughout the country. To strengthen this cooperation they came up with a creative idea: a beautiful mural of our very own fool Jamie Answord. He set to work in several cases where he applied their playful mascot in a qualitative way.
Inspired by the house brand and the location at hand, Jamie created a relevant work.
About the
Artist
Jamie Answord leaves - often erotically tinted - miniature paintings behind on urban spaces. Using a spray can and finger painting, he creates very small works that often complement other graffiti works in legal zones or urban infrastructure. Perfect for small interventions! Also, this artist specialises in Trompe-l'oeil's in which nature can be found.
