About the artist

Ordinario is a German-Filipino artist based in Cologne and Berlin, exploring the intersection of architecture, identity, and abstraction.

His work transforms cultural motifs into geometric form. These are inspired by natural forms that he repeatedly encounters in his own cultural exploration.

The shapes are made by his "freehand-symmetrical“ technique. This method allows him to orientate himself precisely on a two-dimensional medium without a prefabricated grid.

He wants his signs to become relevant for people as everyone is an equal part of this world and he wants everyone to feel that way.
