In the parking lot under the Fly-Over, some new lockers were installed for the homeless. After those in Baudelopark, these were also turned into a true work of art.

Inspired by the zoo that used to be in the neighborhood, artist Nigel Leirens created a series of 4 works with animals at the base. From the lion to the zebra, and the elephant to the tiger. Nigel brought them together, sometimes literally, with the human element of the neighborhood.

This project was in collaboration with the Outreach Department of the City of Ghent. We were delighted with the many positive reactions afterwards. Are there any lockers in your city that could use a makeover? Let us know about it!
