Bio
George Rose is a Melbourne-based artist known for her large-scale murals and vibrant use of color. After training in design and the ANU School of Art, she focused entirely on painting murals. Her work combines native plant species with personal inspiration, exploring the fragility of nature. Mixing hard edges with bold colors and textures, she brings endangered flora and fauna to life on a massive scale. Rose has created murals worldwide for museums, media companies and mural festivals, and is recognized as one of Australia's leading female muralists.
